Mexican Burritos (2. Pers) Knorr world dishes.

(This dish is available in Dutch Supermarkets.)

Ingredients:

  • The package as shown in the Picture contains: Tortilla’s / Herbs and seasoning mix / sauce.
  • Get the following ingredients too:
  • 300 gr. chicken breast.
  • 1 red (paprika) bellpepper.
  • 1 yellow (paprika) bellpepper.
  • 100 ml. water.
  • 125 ml. crème fraiche.
  • 100 gr. grated mature cheese. (if you like more cheese? Do it! :-D )
  • Some margarine.

 

Preparation:

Pre heat the oven at 220 degrees celcius.

  • Dice the chicken breast in small peaces.
  • Dice the bellpeppers also in small peaces.
  • Get a frying pan, put in a little margarine, and fry the chicken until it is golden-brown.
  • Take a bowl and put in 2 tablespoons of cold water, the crème fraiche and the sachet sauce seasoning. Stir this until it’s smooth.
  • By now the chicken should be golden-brown. So you can put the bellpeppers in with the chicken and keep frying for about 2 minutes.
  • Get the sachet of herb mixture and sprinkle the whole sachet all over the chicken / bellpepper mix.
  • Get the 100 ml of water pour it in with the chicken mix in the frying pan.
  • Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • In the meantime get the tortillas and take them out of the package put them on a plate in the microwave for 20 seconds at 600 watts.
  • Grease a baking dish with some margarine.
  • Turn the heat off on the frying pan.
  • Take the back of an tablespoon and spread a little sauce on the tortillas, and take a spatula to put some chicken on the tortillas.
  • Fold the tortillas into a tubular shape and put them in the baking dish.
  • The rest of the chicken mix can be spread at the side of the burritos.
  • Sprinkle the cheese on top of the burritos.
  • Put the baking dish in the pre heated oven for 8 minutes.
